Overview
A TSS analyzer is an online instrument that continuously measures total suspended solids concentration in water, enabling operators to control sludge handling, monitor effluent quality and optimize treatment processes.
Infrared light from the source is absorbed, reflected and scattered as it passes through the measured medium. Within a certain range, scattered light intensity is proportional to turbidity or suspended solids concentration. The TSS analyzer uses two detector sets at 135° and 90° angles and calculates concentration from the received scattered light.
