Water Quality Measurement Technology
TENGINE is a technology company first. Our instruments quantify water quality through three complementary analytical methods, engineered into deployable systems on three technology platforms.
Measurement Technology
Three analytical methods cover the full spectrum of online water quality parameters.
Electrochemical Analysis
Potentiometric and amperometric measurement of the fundamental water quality parameters — pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, residual chlorine and ion-selective species such as ammonium and nitrate.
- pH
- ORP
- Dissolved Oxygen
- Conductivity / TDS
- Residual Chlorine
- NH₄⁺ / NO₃⁻
Spectroscopic Analysis
Optical methods that read water quality directly from light interaction — infrared scattering for turbidity and suspended solids, luminescence quenching for dissolved oxygen, UV254 absorption for organic matter, and fluorescence for chlorophyll and blue-green algae.
- Turbidity
- Suspended Solids / MLSS
- COD / TOC / BOD
- Chlorophyll-a
- Blue-Green Algae
- Transparency
Chemical Analysis
Reagent-based colorimetric and titrimetric methods for parameters that require chemical reaction — DPD chlorine measurement, nutrient analysis and other wet-chemistry determinations brought online and automated.
- Free / Total Chlorine
- Chlorine Dioxide
- Ozone
- Peracetic Acid
- Nutrients
Technology Platforms
From sensing element to networked monitoring system — three engineering layers.
Sensor Technology Platform
Digital sensors integrate measurement, parameter storage, data processing and communication in one body. RS485 Modbus enables plug-and-play networking with data loggers, RTUs, industrial PCs and PLCs.
- Integrated measurement & storage
- RS485 Modbus RTU standard
- IP68 submersible, 316L stainless
- Brush self-cleaning options
Intelligent Transmitter Platform
Universal controllers and transmitters condition sensor signals into actionable outputs — multi-channel input, 4–20 mA, relays and field communication — with automatic sensor recognition and compensation algorithms.
- Multi-channel universal input
- 4–20 mA / relay / RS485 outputs
- Automatic sensor recognition
- Temperature & drift compensation
Smart Monitoring System Platform
Micro stations, buoys and IoT data terminals bring distributed monitoring points online. Wireless transmission, threshold alarms and trend analysis turn raw measurement into early warning and decision support.
- Micro & buoy monitoring stations
- Wireless IoT transmission
- Threshold-based early warning
- Central platform integration
