Overview
A digital pH sensor continuously measures the acidity or alkalinity of water and outputs the result as a digital signal, forming the basis for neutralization control, process regulation and discharge compliance.
The IDP Integrated Digital pH Sensor uses a composite electrode composed of a glass electrode and a reference electrode. The potential of the reference electrode inside the glass electrode remains constant and is independent of the pH of the solution being measured. When the glass bulb is immersed in solutions with varying H⁺ concentrations, the analyzer reads the potential difference between the stable potential of the reference electrode and the potential generated by the glass bulb — this difference determines the pH value.
