TPH pH Analyzer
pH
Online pH analyzer for continuous process control, neutralization and discharge compliance monitoring.
- Automatic temperature compensation
- Stable long-term electrode performance
- Multiple installation options
Overview
A pH analyzer continuously measures the acidity or alkalinity of water, providing the control signal for neutralization, process regulation and discharge compliance monitoring.
The pH analyzer operates using a glass electrode immersed in the solution. Due to the difference in hydrogen ion concentrations inside and outside the electrode, an ultra-thin hydrated layer forms on both surfaces of the glass bulb. The activity difference of hydrogen ions on these two layers generates a potential difference across the electrode, which correlates with the pH value of the solution.
