Customer Challenge
The end customer's facility had no online water-quality monitoring at all — only manual spot checks — leaving wastewater indicators unsupervised between samples, failing the new regulatory requirement for online installation, and exposing the operator to environmental penalties.
The TENGINE Solution
TENGINE supplied the complete online monitoring package for the discharge point: a COD online analyzer, ammonia-nitrogen online analyzer, pH analyzer and SS suspended-solids monitoring system — bringing the four core compliance indicators under continuous watch.
Implementation
The analyzers were installed at the facility's discharge point and integrated with MECIE's monitoring system, streaming continuous data in place of manual sampling.
Project Results
Wastewater indicators are now monitored continuously around the clock, meeting Vietnam's online-monitoring requirements and eliminating the penalty risk — with the data also revealing process fluctuations in time to act. MECIE showcases the TENGINE-based solution on its own website as a reference for industrial wastewater monitoring.
