UVC Integrated Online COD Sensor
COD / Organics (UV254)
Reagent-free UV254 absorption COD sensor delivering results within 1 second, with dual-beam turbidity compensation.
- No reagents, no sample pre-treatment
- Measurement within 1 second
- Dual-beam compensation for color and turbidity
Overview
An online COD analyzer is an instrument that continuously measures chemical oxygen demand in water, helping operators monitor organic pollution levels without laboratory testing.
Organic compounds containing conjugated double bonds or polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons absorb ultraviolet light when dissolved in water. By measuring absorbance at 254 nm (SAC254), the sensor quantifies total organic pollution. An infrared reference beam compensates for turbidity interference.
