Conductivity / TDS / Salinity
Integrated digital conductivity sensor with TDS and salinity conversion — digital Modbus output for process and water quality monitoring.
- Conductivity, TDS and salinity in one digital probe
- RS485 Modbus RTU for direct system integration
- Automatic temperature compensation
- Wide range — from pure water to concentrated brines
Overview
A conductivity sensor measures the ability of water to conduct electrical current, which correlates directly with dissolved ion concentration — the basis for TDS, salinity and concentration monitoring.
The IDC Integrated Digital Conductivity Sensor adopts a four-electrode graphite configuration. An AC signal is applied to two electrodes to avoid polarization interference, while the other two electrodes are used for precise conductivity measurement. Compared to traditional two-electrode technology, it offers greater measurement stability and improved resistance to fouling, making it ideal for long-term online monitoring in complex water environments.
