An ammonia nitrogen sensor continuously measures the ammonium nitrogen (NH₄⁺-N) concentration in water, providing the feedback signal for nitrification control, aeration optimization and nutrient discharge compliance.
The ion-selective electrode (ISE) selectively responds to specific ions in the solution. The ammonia nitrogen ISE consists of a measuring electrode and a reference electrode; by selectively adsorbing ammonium ions, the sensor generates a corresponding potential difference, enabling rapid and accurate measurement. Integrated pH and temperature sensors dynamically compensate environmental factors for stable, reliable readings.
